This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you may cancel your GarageGrowthLab services and request refunds. We believe in fair, transparent terms that protect both our clients and our team.
1. Setup Fee
1.1 Before Work Begins
If you cancel your engagement before we have commenced work on your project (typically within 48 hours of signing), you are entitled to a full refund of your setup fee.
1.2 After Work Has Commenced
Once work has commenced on your project (including website design, content creation, chatbot training, or receptionist onboarding), the setup fee is non-refundable. However, we may offer a partial refund on a case-by-case basis depending on the amount of work completed:
- Less than 25% complete: 50% refund of setup fee may be offered
- 25-75% complete: 25% refund of setup fee may be offered
- More than 75% complete: no refund of setup fee
The percentage of completion is determined by our project management team based on deliverables completed versus the total scope of work.
2. Monthly Recurring Fees
2.1 Billing
Monthly fees are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing period. Once a monthly fee has been charged, it is non-refundable for the current billing period regardless of when you cancel during that month.
2.2 Pro-Rata Refunds
We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, your services will continue until the end of the current billing period.
3. Cancellation Process
3.1 Notice Period
To cancel your GarageGrowthLab services, you must provide 30 days' written notice via email to accounts@garagegrowthlab.com.
3.2 Effective Date
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period following your 30-day notice period. For example, if you provide notice on March 15, your cancellation will take effect at the end of April.
3.3 Cancellation Confirmation
We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request within 2 business days and provide a confirmed end date for your services.
4. What Happens After Cancellation
4.1 Website and Content
- Your website will remain live until the end of your final billing period
- We will provide an export of your website content (copy, images, blog posts) within 30 days of your cancellation effective date
- Custom content created for your business (copy, articles, graphics) remains your property
- Our proprietary templates and frameworks cannot be transferred and will be removed
4.2 CRM and Data
- Lead data and customer information from your CRM dashboard will be exported in CSV format
- Automation sequences and workflows cannot be transferred as they are built on our proprietary systems
- Your CRM sub-account will be deactivated 14 days after your final billing period
4.3 Virtual Receptionist and Chatbot
- Virtual receptionist services will cease on your cancellation effective date
- AI chatbot will be deactivated from your website on your cancellation effective date
- Call recordings and chat transcripts can be exported upon request
4.4 Domain and Hosting
- If we registered a domain on your behalf, ownership will be transferred to you free of charge
- If you wish to continue using the domain, you will need to arrange your own hosting
- DNS records will be updated according to your instructions
5. Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer based in the UK or EU, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) or equivalent EU regulations. Please note that this right may not apply if you have requested that work begins immediately and you acknowledge that the right to cancel will be lost once the service has been fully performed.
6. Service Level Issues
If you are experiencing issues with the quality or delivery of our services, we encourage you to contact us before considering cancellation. We are committed to resolving problems and will work with you to address any concerns. In cases where we have materially failed to deliver agreed-upon services:
- We will attempt to remedy the issue within 14 business days of notification
- If we cannot remedy the issue, we may offer a partial refund or service credit proportionate to the undelivered services
- You may be entitled to terminate without notice if we have materially breached our Service Agreement
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund on your statement.
8. Re-Engagement
If you wish to re-engage our services after cancellation, you may do so at any time. Depending on the time elapsed, a reduced setup fee may apply to restart your services. Previous data and content may be available if you rejoin within 90 days of cancellation.
9. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter by contacting legal@garagegrowthlab.com. We will review your case within 10 business days and provide a final response. If the dispute cannot be resolved internally, it will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms of Service.
